Empower Lives, Build Futures
Help Us Finish the Story
For fifteen years we have raised orphaned children in Kenya, put twelve of them through university and trade school, and helped two of them start a business that can fund the next generation. We are close to the finish line. Five students still have fees due, three graduates are still looking for work, and a small company needs a little more capital to stand on its own.

Creating Jobs
We thought an education would be enough. It wasn't. Our students graduated with real degrees and real diplomas — and many of them still could not find work, because in Kenya the jobs simply are not there.
So two of them stopped waiting. Dickson trained as a physical therapist and could not get hired anywhere, so he and Kelvin looked at what rural Kenya did not have and found it: internet service. They started a company called Zuri Fiber, and Nicko is teaching himself fiber installation to join them. As it grows it can do two things at once — put our graduates to work, and fund the next generation of students without another campaign like this one.
